Established in 1905, Lombardi’s is self-proclaimed as one of the best pizzerias in the U.S., and is the first and original pizzaria in New York. The always crowded restaurant indulges New York foodies with tasty pizzas and chewy, coal oven thin crust topped with fresh ingredients that will make you go back for more.
We started with the white pizza. This unique pie has no sauce, just topped with mozzarella, ricotta, romano cheese, oregano, basil, black pepper, and garlic infused oil. Small 14″ (6 slices) for $17.50, large 18″ (8 slices) for $21.50.
One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! Chunks of tender hand-shucked clams, oregano, fresh garlic, parsley pecorino romano cheese, extra virgin olive oil, and fresh ground pepper made this pizza oh-so-delicious. A drizzle of fresh lemon juice brings out the flavor of the sea. ($26)
Meat balls, pepperoni, and mushrooms. All of the toppings were really fresh and the cheese made all of the ingredients come together nicely.
Original pizza: Small 14″ (6 slices) for $15.50, large 18″ (8 slices) for $19.50.
Toppings: 1 item $3, 2 items $5, 3 items $6, 4 items: 7, 5 items $8.
